Awesome Anonymous is proudly brought to you by the following team. We’re here to make every AA session as Awesome as possible, and spread Awesome to the far reaches of the land.
|DEBRA likes to draw her daydreams, play the violin, and seek beauty in the world around her. To her, seeking Awesome is to embark on a journey away from mediocrity, to follow that antsy feeling in your heart (some call it an aspiration) and to attain something bigger than what you think is possible in your current state. She would like you to join her on the road to Awesome.||LYNETTE sings, yogas, and thinks the world is solvable by science. She wants everyone out there to live an examined life – to banish passivity, and to refuse to follow norms unscrutinised. To be Awesome is to stand up, take ownership of our lives, and to be a sparkle of starlight in the stygian darkness of our collective consciousness.||NICOLE is sarcastic and cynical, but one thing she believes without any trace of cynicism is that we were all put on this earth for a purpose. She believes that AA is a way for us to paddle around in the shallows, and dip our toes into discovering that purpose. Also, she believes in unicorns.||CAROLYN engineers, wakeboards, and believes in dinosaurs. She believes in Awesome wholly as “a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost.” (Martha Graham)|
|JING is a jombie with a deep love for grannies and babies. She enjoys farming, firefighting, designing and ice-cream surfing. This jombie is easily bribed by delicious food and the promise of adventure. She hopes to ignite the spark of awesomeness that lies in the soul of every person she meets.||YEXIANG likes finance, technology and anything that lies at the intersection of both. He reads the world in mind maps, decision trees and spreadsheets, and feels that heuristic biases are unnecessary bits of human nautre. He feels that AA can help people get rid of analysis paralysis (sometimes termed “procrastination”) and to “screw it, just get on and do it”, in the wise words of Richard Branson.||LIONEL believes in hatching a rich life. He sees boosting our personal finance as one of the best ways to do this, by keeping our worries down and making sure we have enough ingredients to live the lives we always imagined. He loves to develop personal finance strategies, and productivity tips and tricks at cheerfulegg.com.||TIMOTHY can typically be found reading, gaming, snowboarding, and ready for any new adventure. He believes deeply that when we know better, we do better — and the more awesome things we know and expose ourselves to, the more awesome we can become.|
